Twenty-five (25) players made the trip as the Black Stars arrived in Rabat for Tuesday’s international friendly with the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
The friendly will be Ghana’s first game since March when they drew with South Africa (1-1) and defeated Sao Tome and Principe (3-1) to qualify for a record 10th straight Africa Cup of Nations ticket.
Captain Andre Ayew, who missed the team’s training sessions in Cape Coast all week, was able to join them before departure Monday dawn.
The three local players – Ismail Ganiyu, Gladson Awako, Rashid Nortey – who were released from camp for the weekend’s games in the Ghana Premier League – were able to make the trip.
Morocco will host Ghana at Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex on Tuesday, June 8. Kickoff is at 19:00 GMT.
