Hearts of Oak travelled to beat Eleven Wonders 1-0 in the opening game of match-day-26 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League at Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman on Friday.
Striker Kwadwo Obeng Jnr showed quick feet to strike his 7th goal of the campaign in the 26th minute and ensured the Phobians snatched the all-important three points – their fourth on the bounce.
The defeat leaves Eleven Wonders, on 27 points, potentially dropping into the relegation zone after the weekend round of games.
Hearts of Oak, now move top of the league with 46 points, one above Asante Kotoko who host WAFA SC on Saturday.
