Aduana FC coach, Joseph Asare Bediako says his team’s 0-0 draw against Asante Kotoko on Saturday is as a result of luck eluding them.
The Fire Boys needed victory to return to winning aways after losing to Legon Cities on match-day 26.
Kotoko, on the other hand, were poised for a win to keep their title chase with Hearts intact.
“I will say luck didn’t smile on us, that’s what I will say. This game was 50-50. At a time you will be possessing and at a time you see them having the ball.
“We got the chances we expected but couldn’t score and we had no luck too,” Bediako told reporters after the game.
“We mapped up some strategy that if you don’t know football, you will think they[Kotoko] are dominating.
Specifically, we were looking for some individual players, Mudasiru and Gama and you know they were perfect players, good players.
“The defensive play by the lads was great due to the strategy too.”
The draw keeps Aduana in the middle of the league standings, 8th, while Kotoko drop to second after Hearts of Oak beat Berekum Chelsea 2-0 on Sunday.
