Asante Kotoko want to offer Emmanuel Gyamfi another contract extension, Footy-Ghana.com can report.
In November 2018, the 26-year-old winger renewed his stay at the club by two years, running till the end of May 2021.
Due to certain off-field incidents in the early stages of the current season, Gyamfi’s future looked to be away from the club when his current deal expires.
The Kotoko deputy captain endured massive criticism over his dip in form but has been impressive recently under new coach Mariano Barreto.
Club sources indicate the Portuguese trainer sees Gyamfi as a key member of his team with the Porcupines’ management now said to be willing to extend his stay for one more year.
Emmanuel Gyamfi joined Asante Kotoko in a free agent move in 2016.
