‘It was probably my last match in Denmark,’ says Kamaldeen Sulemana as he confirms Ajax offer

FC Nordsjaelland lost 2-0 to new Superliga champions Brøndby IF on Monday.

In-demand Ghana youngster, Kamaldeen Sulemana has hinted he might have played his last match for FC Nordsjaelland.

The 19-year-old  talisman – who is credited with speed, skill and scoring prowess – has a concrete offer from Dutch champions Ajax while there are links to English giants Liverpool FC and Manchester United.

From all indications, Nordsjaelland look set to lose Sulemana, who has been their star player this season.

In a reaction after Monday’s defeat to new Danish champions Brøndby IF, Sulemana confirmed there is an offer from Ajax who just last season snapped up his compatriot Mohammed Kudus from the Superliga outfit.

He admitted that may have been a farewell appearance for a club that has taught him all he knows since he arrived in Scandinavia as a little-known teenager from their Ghana-based Right to Dream Academy 15 months ago.

“Yes, it was probably my last match in Denmark. But we have not made the final decision. We have to see.

“I know there is a bid from Ajax. And that’s what I can say.

“Unfortunately, I cannot answer further questions because I cannot go into deeper details. But there has been a bid,” he told BT.

£12 million-rated Kamaldeen Sulemana scored ten goals and made eight assists for FC Nordsjaelland in the just-ended season.
