Yaw Preko handed Ghana U-15 job

Former Ghana international, Yaw Preko has been appointed as the new head coach of the national male Under-15 team.

The ex-winger – who went into coaching after retirement – returns to national team duties after his last stint as coach of the Ghana U-20s in 2019,

Preko has been hired to replace Samuel Boadu who has moved to the Black Satellites as an assistant coach.

The 46-year-old was a Hearts of Oak kingpin before moving on to play abroad for clubs like RSC Anderlecht, Fenerbahce, Gaziantepspor, Halmstads and Al Ettifaq FC.

Yaw Preko won over 65 caps for Ghana during an international career that spanned 15 years.

He currently works as head coach of Premier League side Medeama SC.
