Samuel Boadu named new Black Satellites assistant coach

Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu has been promoted from the Ghana national Under-15s to the Under-20 team, the Black Satellites.

Boadu headed the U-15s for one year but will now be one of two assistants to Black Satellites head coach Karim Zito who has been retained by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Salifu Fatawu also retains his role as the second assistant coach at Satellites.

Head coach Karim Zito was “rewarded for his hard work after leading Ghana to two major titles during the first year of his tenure as Coach of the national U-20 team.”

The former Starlets and Meteors trainer led the Black Satellites to win the 2020 Wafu Zone-B Cup of Nations in Benin and the 2021 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournament in Mauritania.
