#GPLwk20: Rampant Bechem slam four past Aduana

After two straight defeats, Bechem United showed their ruthless side by blowing away two-time champions Aduana FC to claim a 4-0 win on match-day 20 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Sunday afternoon.

The Hunters made their dominance count by hitting three past the visitors in the opening 45 minutes, added another goal in the second period before cruising on with a clean sheet at the end.

Striker Hafiz Konkoni opened the scoring as early as the 4th minute.

Dennis Modzaka then made it 2-0 by the 22nd minute.

Three minutes from the break, Sampson Adjei Adjetey put the hosts three goals to the good and out of sight with a corner kick effort that eluded everybody with goalkeeper Joseph Addo failing to parry the ball away to safety.

3-0 the first half ended.

The second half saw Konkoni bagging his second of the game with a free-kick to seal a swaggering 4-0 victory for Bechem United who were at the receiving end of the same scoreline against Asante Kotoko the other week.

Victory means Bechem United have gained four points off Aduana this season after holding each other to a 0-0 draw when they first met at Dormaa in November last year.

And Bechem, now on 30, also go three points above their regional rivals after 20 matches.
