Fabio Gama not interested in new Kotoko contract talks

Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama is not making new contract talks with the Ghanaian giants anytime soon.

The Brazilian attacker is only focused on his current deal with the Porcupines which is expected to end in October 2022.

Gama has been a mainstay in Mariano Barreto’s side that now leads the league log after 20 games.

The 28-year-old is eager to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and discuss his contract later.

“I am focused on the league now. We want to win the league and that’s where my attention is,” Gama told Pure FM.

“You never know what will happen in the next months so let’s focus on the football. I want to only discuss contract talks when it’s getting close.”

Fabio Gama has scored two goals so far in the league and hopes to help his team achieve more as well.

Asante Kotoko’s recent games has seen the Brazilian flourishing in attacking midfield. The Porcupines’ next league fixture is against Medeama in Obuasi.
