Liberty Professionals forward Adamu Amadu is elated about netting his first goal in the Ghana Premier League.
Adamu, who joined the Dansoman-based outfit in March, scored the second goal in his side’s 2-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea on Saturday.
The win is Liberty’s third consecutive triumph in their last five encounters.
“Since joining this club, I have struggled to get the goal after playing three games. I felt pressured even though I know I’m capable.
“But now, I have my first goal and I thank God for that. I know the goals will come once I have been able to calm the pressure now.”
Adamu joined Liberty Professionals from Division One League side, Kings Palace FC.
