Kwame Peprah: Dreams FC move to sign King Faisal striker in advance for next season

Dreams FC have formally requested to sign King Faisal goal poacher Kwame Peprah now with an offer to allow him to stay on until the end of the ongoing 2020/21 season.

The Still Believe side followed up initial discussions with a letter dated Monday, February 22 formally asking the relegation-threatened side to open up for further talks over the 20-year-old.

“Dreams FC extends its compliments and writes to formally register its interest in your player Kwame Peprah.

“By this letter, we are inviting you to hold further talks towards securing the economic and registration rights of the player with your permission.

“We however acknowledge that the player’s immediate transfer to Dreams FC would certainly have a negative impact on your sporting targets and for the season thus our proposal to defer the exchange of his registration rights up until the end of the season once his transfer is secured.

“It is our hope that this formal request receives a favourable consideration,” the Dreams FC letter signed by Deputy General Manager Enoch Agyare Addo read.

In 15 appearances, Kwame Peprah has scored 8 of 17th-placed King Faisal’s 17 goals so far in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Peprah’s impressive showings this season recently earned him a call-up to the Black Stars’ home-based camp for preparations towards Ghana’s final games in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome later this month.
