Hearts complete swoop for versatile Caleb Amankwah

Hearts of Oak have further bolstered their squad by signing versatile defender Caleb Amankwah.

The right-back left Aduana FC on a free last December after running down his three-year contract with the two-time Ghana Premier League winners.

Amankwah has not been short of admirers since his Dormaa departure had hoped for a move abroad and recently travelled to Turkey and Azerbaijan but failed to land a deal.

But the former WAFA SC stalwart is back home and sealed terms of a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Phobians on Friday. The deal will thus run through to the end of the 2022/23 season.

Amankwah came close to signing for Medeama before travelling out of the country

Caleb Amankwah proved his versatility during his Aduana FC days as he established himself in central defence.
