Gockel Ahortor is back with struggling Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Inter Allies for a third stint.
The midfielder, 26, rejoined the ‘Eleven is To One’ on transfer deadline day for the rest of the 2020/21 season.
The free-kick expert is expected to add bite and steel to the team’s midfield with his experience and gamesmanship.
In his first stint, Ahortor played three seasons for Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League from 2013 to 2016. He combined 65 appearances and scored 9 goals.
Gockel Ahortor, after an unsuccessful spell at Aduana Stars, returned to Inter at the start of the 2019/20 season which got cancelled due tithe outbreak of COVID-19. He had played for games before the season was abandoned.
Inter Allies are hoping for a massive season turnaround when the Ghana Premier League resumes in April after finishing the first round bottom of the standings.
