Italian giants, AS Roma have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian teenage striker Felix Afena-Gyan from Accra-based EurAfrica Football Club.
The 18-year-old joins the Giallorossi on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
The contract was brokered by Fifa football agent Oliver Arthur, C.E O of ArthurLegacy Sports Agency.
Afena-Gyan made the trip to Italy in January and has since been training with both the first team and the youth side.
This is the first time a young Ghanaian footballer has joined the first team of one of Europe’s prestigious football clubs from an academy in Ghana.

Felix Afena-Gyan is set to start his first game from the youth division when Roma host Genoa in the U-18 championship tomorrow in Rome.
