Karela United had their unbeaten record at the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) Park ended by Asante Kotoko who beat them 2-0 on match-day 13 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
Left-back Ibrahim Imoro ensured the Porcupines took a first-half lead with a strike from just outside the box in the 37th minute.
Kwame Opoku then made it 2-0 with his 7th goal of the season after a superb buildup from the back two minutes after the hour mark.
The victory sees Kotoko – who now go top of the league standings – stay unbeaten in 7 games on the road this season as they ended the record of the ‘Pride and Passion’ side who had won all home games.
It is also Karela’s first loss in 65 competitive matches at CAM Park.
