Striker Joseph Esso says he has no regrets about swapping local giants Hearts of Oak for Dreams FC.
The 24-year-old joined the ‘Still Believe’ side prior to the start of the 2020/21 season after contract renewal talks with the Phobians broke down.
Esso had been highly tipped to join arch-rivals Asante Kotoko but Dreams emerged to pull off a major transfer coup by signing him on a two-year deal.
The highly-rated frontman had to endure a slow start to his first season due to injury.
“It’s not bad moving from Hearts to Dreams.
“Many will see it to be a step-down but I know what I want in my career and I think is a good decision for me.
“I got injured in week two but I’m back enjoying my football,” he told TV3 GPL Xpress.
Joseph Esso has shown good form since his full recovery. He has scored five goals so far for Dreams FC who have climbed to 6th position in the Ghana Premier League standings after 13 matches.
