Medeama bounce back with crucial win over Bechem

Medeama SC got back on the winning track on match-day 14 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League by beating Bechem United 2-0 at Akoon Park.

The Mauve and Yellows were keen to bounce back from a painful 1-0 defeat at King Faisal.

Justice Blay and Eric Enchil got first-half goals to put them in a good position to secure all three points.

Medeama claimed the lead after just 13 minutes through a penalty converted by midfielder Justice Blay.

The home side doubled their lead six minutes from half-time as left-back Eric Enchil weaved his way through a couple of legs before hitting home an unexpected strike past Bechem goalkeeper Abdulai Iddrisu.

Medeama controlled the game to record a 2-0 home win over Bechem which moves them up to 7th in the GPL table with 20 points.

The defeat sees Bechem United drop to fourth in the table.
