Kamal Sowah scores as OH Leuven thrash Ocansey’s Kortrijk

Ghana midfielder Kamal Sowah scored the final goal for 10-man OH Leuven who thrashed KV Kortrijk 3-1 in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League Friday night.

Playing at their favourite King Power at Den Dreef Stadion grounds, Leuven took a three-goal lead in the opening 40 minutes before allowing the visitors to pull one back in the second half of the match-day fixture.

Thomas Henry bagged a brace with goals in the 10th and 20th minutes.

OH Leuven went a man down in the 36th minute when Kristiyan Malinov received a second yellow card.

Henry then set Kamal up to nicely round off a very good Leuven attack in the 40th minute, making it 3-0 with his 8th goal of the league campaign.

Zinho Gano scored what turned out a consolation for Kortrijk in the 52nd minute.

Kamal Sowah, 21, played the entire duration of the game while compatriot Eric Ocansey represented Kortrijk for 70 minutes.

OH Leuven are now 5th in the 2020/21 Belgian Jupiler Pro League standings.
