#GPLwk12: Dreams shut out WAFA at Dawu

Dreams FC continued their resurgence by beating WAFA SC 3-0 at Dawu Park on match-day 12 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Wednesday afternoon.

In what was a tricky task against the Academy Boys who thrashed Liberty Professionals 5-0 in their last game, the Believers came out on top with three second-half goals to extend their unbeaten run to six games.

Sulemana Fahadu broke the deadlock with a powerful strike in the 54th minute.

Visiting WAFA struggled to gain their rhythm as Dreams possessed and dominated the game.

And their relentless pressure paid off when Ibrahim Issah bagged a brace in the final 13 minutes of the game.

The winger cushioned the lead to 2-0 in the 77th minute before completing the impressive win with his second in stoppage time.

Dreams FC, sustained unbeaten run sees them now climb to 7th place in the GPL standings after 12 games. They are just a point behind WAFA who are on 18.
