Back to work: Annor Walker returns as Olympics head coach

Annor Walker is back as Great Olympics head Coach after recuperating from a short illness last year,  Chief Executive Officer Oluboi Commodore has confirmed.

The return means Yaw Preko and his assistant Godwin Attram have been relieved from their duties.

The two coaches were appointed by the club to take over the technical team in the absence of the experienced tactician.

Walker was excused from duty due to health reasons but has recovered in time to resume his post.

On Tuesday, he was in charge of  training with Yaw Preko and Godwin Attram, present at the La Mac Dan Park.

Speaking on Happy FM, Oluboi Commodore explained the results of the return means for Preko and Attram.

“Now that he (Annor Walker) has returned, Yaw Preko and Godwin Attram’s work have come to an end. We will ask Annor Walker to appoint his assistant.”

Coach Yaw Preko and Godwin Attram during their short spell with the club have guided Olympics to 3rd on the league log.

The Wonder boys beat Allies, Hearts of Oak and King Faisal, drew against Karela United and lost to Bechem United.

Coach Annor Walker will be in the dugout when Great Olympics host Elmina Sharks on match-day 13.
