Berekum Chelsea scored two second-half goals as they returned to winning ways, defeating Bechem United 2-0 at Golden City Park Wednesday afternoon.
The Bibires were in search of a win after managing just a point from their last two games
Following a goalless first half, the hosts made a bright start to score inside five minutes of the second through midfielder Collins Ameyaw.
Berekum Chelsea went on to double the score with former goal king Kofi Owusu placing the ball at the back of the net in the 77th minute.
They held on to the 2-0 advantage to record only their third win in 12 matches of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign. Berekum Chelsea are now on 13 points and place 14th.
For Bechem, it is also their third defeat since the start of the season. They drop to third with 19 points.
