Yaw Preko replaces Annor Walker as Olympics coach

Great Olympics have named ex-Ghana international Yaw Preko as new head coach.

The Accra giants have had to look for a new trainer due to the absence of Annor Walker who has reportedly been hospitalized.

Olympics lost both games in coach Walker’s absence and have moved to stop the rot with the appointment of a new head coach.

The club announced the arrival of Preko who once played for city rivals Hearts of Oak but remained silent on the situation of Walker.

Preko, 46, previously coached Ghana’s U-20 team and acted as an assistant at Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies under Japanese-American Kenichi Yatsuhashi

Great Olympics next play guests to Inter Allies on match-day 9 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
