Asante Kotoko deputy captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi could face the music as the club opens a probe into the player’s alleged multiple violations of his contract.
Top among them emanates from the Porcupines’ recent trip to Sudan in the Caf Champions League.
Gyamfi was captured in an airport video making the trip with the trolley bag of former kit providers Strike Ghana instead of that of Errea, Kotoko’s current sponsors.
This saw Strike Ghana, who had a bitter end to their relationship with Kotoko, take advantage of the incident to sarcastically thank the club in a tweet:
Thank you @AsanteKotoko_SC for using our trolley bags. Safe journey. Still fabulous pic.twitter.com/hyD6875NdP

The embarrassment, coupled with other incidents relating to Gyamfi has forced management into a sit-down with the 26-year-old.
Asked about the management move on Oyerepa FM, Ag. Communications Manager David Obeng Nyarko shied away from throwing light on the winger’s issues.
“There are issues that will be dealt with internally..,” he said.
Emmanuel Gyamfi is one of the long-serving players in the current Kotoko squad.
