Fit-again Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus made his first appearance in 81 days with an 11-minute cameo for Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.
The 20-year-old replaced Quincy Promes in the 79th minute as his side rallied from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home in a top-of-the-table clash with PSV Eindhoven.
Kudus had been out since October 2020 after he suffered a meniscus tear in his knee in a Champions League clash against Liverpool.
He underwent surgery and returned to team training in the middle of December before finally being offered minutes in today’s game.
Mohammed Kudus had scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists before the injury.
Ajax remain top of the Eredivisie, one point above challengers PSV.
