Asante Kotoko have been drawn to face Algerian giants ES Sétif for a slot in the group stage of the 2020/21 Caf Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors are one of 16 teams to drop from the Caf Champions League after being declared losers of their clash with Al-Hilal. Kotoko could not raise a team despite travelling to Sudan after it emerged that 8 members of their 22 players tested positive for COVID-19.
Following a draw in Cairo Friday, the Ghanaian giants are faced with a tricky two-legged battle with the resurgent ES Sétif.
Kotoko host the first leg on February 14 with the return encounter coming off in Sétif seven days later.
ES Sétif are a team on form this season. They have won all six matches in the Alerian Ligue 1 so far.
