Wafu-B U-20 Cup: Zito makes five changes for Ghana-Cote d’Ivoire clash

Ghana coach Karim Zito has made five alterations to his starting line-up to face Cote d’Ivoire in Group B of the ongoing 2020 Wafu-B Under-20 Cup of Nations Saturday afternoon.

Striker Precious Boah, who scored the winner against Nigeria, is not at the disposal of coach Zito after picking a red card in the Satellites’ opener.

Goalkeeper Ibrahim Danladi maintains his place in the post.

Tamale Utrecht Academy defender Uzair Alhassan takes the place of Philemon Baffuor with Ivan Anokye replacing Kobina Amoah in central defence.

Mohammed Suleymana and Eugene Frimpong have made way for Issah Huda and Emmanuel Agyemang Duah. respectively while Abanga Sumaila steps in for the suspended Boah.

Ghana need just a point to top Group B while avoiding defeat also sees the young Elephants securing a spot in the semifinals.

The Black Satellites are in search of a ticket to the 2021 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) slated for Mauritania.

The match kicks off at 15:00 GMT.
