GPL: Konadu expects Kotoko improvement after first win

Asante Kotoko coach, Maxwell Konadu spoke to the media after their first win of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Porcupines claimed a 1-0 victory via Ibrahim Osman’s 11th-minute strike Friday night.

Konadu hopes to see his outfit improve their performance as they continue their challenge for the league crown.

” It’s is a difficult league and I know that we have to do much better if we want to win it.

“It’s not easy but we can also agree with our strikers that they are, at least, scoring. Going forward, we need to work much harder to improve our scoring rate.”

The gaffer also gave information on Brazilian Fabio Gama who is yet to feature for the side.

“He is now almost ready and I’m impressed with the way he trains. So we will see in the weeks ahead and we have a plan for him.”

Kotoko will next play Great Olympics on December 16 in one of their two outstanding games.
