Ghana striker Frederick Ofori Acheampong has sealed a move to FC Trollhättan (FCT) in the Swedish third-tier.
The 24-year-old signed a two-year contract from Västra Frölunda, a side he only joined last June.
In his first interview, Acheampong said: “FCT is an ambitious club with a good project and really good coaches. I’m really glad to be here.
“You will see me in the centre forward position banging in some goals, hopefully.”
Head coach William also expressed his pleasure with the signing of the highly-coveted striker:
“We are very pleased to have managed to secure Frederick Acheampong from the competition with a number of other clubs.
“With Frederick, we get a player with an extremely professional attitude to his football and constantly wants to develop. He is a very skilled forward and a constant threat going forward and we have high hopes that he will help the team get to the next level.”
The 2021 Swedish Ettan is expected to kick off in March.
