Ghanaian forward, Sadat Karim registered a brace and an assist in Halmstad BK home win over Dalkurd FF in the Sweden Superettan Saturday.
The double increase the 29-year-old’s season tally to five goals while his assist numbers also rose to nine as second-placed Halmstad won 4-0 at the Drottsplats Örjans Vall.
Mikael Boman and Joel Allansson gave the home side a two-goal advantage in the 5th and 45th minutes respectively.
In the second half, Sadat took his turn to score in the 69th and 87th minutes to finish off the visitors.
Halmstad, with 59, are just a point behind leaders Degerfors on the 16-team Swedish Superettan log after 27 matches. They need one more win (or at least three points) from their final three games to be guaranteed promotion to the topflight next season.
