Afcon 2021Q: Sudan name 25 to face Ghana in doubleheader

Sudan coach Hubert Velud has announced his 25-man squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) doubleheader qualifier against Ghana.

The Falcons of Jediane started a preparatory camp in Khartoum on October 30 and will travel on November 4th to Addis Ababa where they will face Ethiopia in a friendly on 6 November. They will leave for Accra the next day.

Velud, who took over Sudan’s coaching job last February, will have his first competitive outing against the Black Stars.

The first of the back-to-back games comes off at Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday, November 12. Kickoff is 16:00 GMT.
