Player told to be lacking the physical and technical level required at the club.
Ghana’s James Akaminko has been rendered clubless just 24 days after signing for Tunisian topflight side US Tataouine.
The 26-year-old defensive midfielder had run down his contract with AshantiGold and left as a free agent to join Tataouine on a three-year deal.

But after three weeks of pre-season training, Akaminko’s deal has been abrogated following a U-turn by the club’s head coach.
A post via the club’s official Facebook page, on October 19, initially announced that Akaminko and Sudanese striker Shihab Al-Din were not needed at the request of new coach Skander Kasri.
Fast-forward Monday, October 26, US Tataouine further announced that both players had officially left their fold, citing that the head coach deemed “they did not have the physical and technical level required to continue at the club.”
