#FootyTransfers: Deadline day – Arsenal in Partey chase, Atsu and Asamoah still search for clubs

The transfer window in Europe’s top-flight football nations closes today as player representatives battle to get clubs for their clients while panic-buying becomes the other of the last day.

After Manchester United’s terrible 6-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspurs, maybe we can expect a final day transfer from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Liverpool were battered 7-2 by Aston Villa but Klopp after signing Diogo Jota from Wolves in September would not tremble enough to sign.

Clubs will also offload some surplus to requirement players before midnight. Christian Atsu’s case at Newcastle United is a perfect one.

So what’s up with Ghanaian players today?

Southampton signed Salisu Mohammed from Real Valladolid.

Bernard Mensah is still in Turkey but now plays for Besiktas.

How can we forget Mohammed Kudus’ big move from Nordsjaelland to Ajax Amsterdam?

Some low level deals have already been completed as well.

Nicholas Opoku is back on loan at Amiens from Udinese. New Black Stars player Emmanuel Lomotey also joined the French Ligue 2 side.

Furthermore, Pau FC also signed Ebenezer Assifuah earlier.

Patrick Twumasi has moved to German side Hannover 96 in September.

Benjamin Tetteh also joined Turkish-outfit Yeni Matalyaspor on loan.

Black Queens skipper Elizabeth Addo is in Cyprus on a short deal from Jiangsu Suning LFC.

As the window closes today, Inter Milan left-back Kwadwo Asamoah might be making a move from the Serie A giants.

Antonio Conte’s has Aleksandr Kolarov and Ashley Young while Ivan Perisic has also played in the left-wing back role this season.

In England, Newcastle manager Steve Bruce says Christian Atsu should be heading out of the club.

Arsenal’s pursuit for Thomas Partey has died out in October.

The Gunners must pay the Atletico Madrid midfielder’s release clause of 50 million euros. A tough demand from Los Rojiblancos this summer.

But with the good form so far in the Premier League, the move might be off.

So till midnight, Footy-Ghana.com will be serving you with transfers of players with Ghanaian interest.
