Defender Baba Musah joins Medeama deal till 2023

Medeama SC have announced the signing of defender Baba Abdulai Musah on a permanent deal.

The free-agent joins the Mauve and Yellows for the next three years.

Baba, a centre-back, previously enjoyed a three-year stint win now Division Onse side Tema Youth, featuring 17 times for the side in their last Ghana Premier League campaign – the 2016/17 season.

Prior to joining Tema Youth, he spent two seasons at former FA Cup winners Nania FC.

“I am extremely happy to be part of this fantastic family and I look forward to my career here in Tarkwa.

“To be part of this wonderful crop of players is amazing and we hope to work hard for our fans this season.

“Joining Medeama is a dream come true and I look forward to an exciting stay,” Baba told medeamasc.com.

Coach Samuel Boadu added: “Baba is an exceptional defender and he will provide us with several alternatives.

“We are looking forward to working with him and making his stay an enjoyable one.

“Calm, cool and collected, his versatility will be crucial for us in our quest to excel this season. He is a top professional, who will be an asset to this great club.”

Baba Musah adds up the depth in squad in the defensive department with Daniel Egyin, Rashid Alhassan and Ali Ouattara all available.
