Ghana forward, Paul Mensah registered a brace to propel Kapfenberger SV 1919 to an impressive first win of the season – 3-0 – at Vorwärts Steyr on match-day 2 of the 2020/21 Austrian Erste Liga Friday.
Mensah got the visitors on the scoresheet as early as the 4th minute of the game.
Kapfenberger VS 1919 doubled their lead in the 33rd minute through Simon Staber.
The second half saw 20-year-old Mensah net his second and the third for Kapfenberger in the 81st minute at the EK Kammerhofer Arena.
Countryman Winfred Amoah remained an unused substitute for Kapfenberger SV.
