Kasim Adams plays full time in dramatic Hoffenheim opening day win

Ghana defender, Kasim Adams enjoyed full minutes as TSG Hoffenheim led three times to win a dramatic five-goal thriller over FC Koln in their opening match of the 2020/21 German Bundesliga Saturday.

The centre-back, who replaced the injured Stefan Posch, was pivotal in a four-man defensive line made up of Kevin Akpoguma, Ermin Bičakčić and Pavel Kadeřábek.

Andrej Kramarić was the stand-out performer, scoring all three goals including an injury-time winner as Hoffenheim picked up a 3-2 victory away at the RheinEnergieStadion.

Hoffenheim led very early when Kramaric hypnotized the home side with his 4th-minute goal.

Koln replied 18 minutes later with Sebastian Anderson pulling the equalizer.

Kramarić shot Hoffenheim in front once again from the penalty spot just on the half time mark.

Dominick Drexler made it 2-2 for Koln in the 86th minute.

But Kramarić was on hand, for the third time, to score in injury time and claim all three points for TSG Hoffenheim.

Kasim Adams, who spent last season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf, will look to cement a place in the TSG Hoffenheim start list after his impressive opening day outing.
