FC Nordsjælland loan out Clinton Antwi to Esbjerg

FC Nordsjælland have allowed Ghana defender Clinton Antwi has been allowed to join Esbjerg fB in the Danish second-tier.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian left-back arrives on a season-long loan and will immediately train with his new teammates on Wednesday.

Antwi played 16 games for FC Nordsjælland in the Danish Superliga last season.

Pleased with the squad addition, EfB Esbjerg Sports director Jimmi Nagel Jacobsen states:

“Clinton Antwi is a really good left-back who fits well into the style of play that should characterize EfB with power, aggression and speed.

“At the same time, we get an extremely hungry and ambitious player who will give us flexibility in the back chain from day one, so we are very much looking forward to the upcoming collaboration.”

Esbjerg fB were relegated from the Danish Superliga just last season and will be targeting a quick return to the topflight after the 2020/21 campaign.
