Danish Cup: Effiong Nsungusi brace sends Köge into next round

Former Inter Allies striker, Effiong Nsungusi June scored twice as HB Köge defeated FA 2000 3-0 in the Danish domestic Cup competition on Wednesday.

Effiong initially joined Köge on loan but regularized his stay before the start of this season’s league.

The bulky striker found the net for Köge on the 29th minute after a breathtaking display.

Four minutes after his opener, the Nigerian striker found his second goal of the match to send the game into the break at 2-0 for Köge.

Back from recess, HB Köge had a numerical advantage after FA 2000 had Michael Jonssen sent off on the 48th minute.

The numerical advantage paid off when Marius Elvius made the score 3-0 on the 77th minute.

HB Köge will next play Bispebjerg Bk on October 6 in the next round.
