Safiu scores again in second-half goal rush for Trelleborgs

In-form Ghana forward, Fatawu Safiu notched a goal for the successive game as Trelleborgs FF snatched victory with a second-half goal rush away to Norbby IF on Sunday.

The 2020 Swedish Superettan match-day 13 fixture had Trelleborgs come from behind to register three goals without further reply in a 20-minute spell at Boras Arena.

Dijan Vukojević handed Norrby a first-half lead with the midfielder scoring as early as the 6th minute.

Trelleborgs huffed and puffed but it was Salif Camera-Jönsson who would finally net the equalizer after 64 minutes of play.

Safiu – the scorer of Trelleborgs’ matchwinner in midweek – then took his turn to double the lead and as well increase his season tally to 5 goals in the 78th minute.

Six minutes from time, Fredrik Liverstam sealed an emphatic 3-1 win for the visitors.

Trelleborgs FF occupy 6th position on the 16-team Superettan log with 18 points.
