Local representative of free agent Joseph Esso has quashed reports his client has completed terms with Asante Kotoko.
Media reports on Tuesday claimed the forward, who just left arch-rivals Hearts of Oak, has signed a bumper deal for the Porcupines.
But Mr Wasiu Ali Mohammed says the reports are far from true.
“He [Joseph Esso] has not agreed anything with any Ghanaian club, even though all the top clubs are getting in contact with me.
“It’s not surprising because of Esso’s quality. Every club will be interested,” he is quoted as telling allsportsghana.
Until his shock departure, 23-year-old Esso had been a delight for the Phobians, having arrived from Ebusua Dwarfs three seasons ago.
Joseph Esso played a key role in Ghana’s team that finished second at the 2019 Wafu Cup of Nations in Senegal.
