Kwadwo Asamoah tipped for Inter transfer exit

Kwadwo Asamoah has been tipped to feature in the departure list at Inter Milan this summer.

A report by Italian media outlet Calciomercato claims the Nerazzurri will be saying goodbye to the versatile Ghana international and three others – Diego Godin, Matias Vecino and Sebastiano Esposito – when the protracted 2019/20 season comes to an end.

Asamoah, the former Juventus star, began the season as a starter under Antonio Conte but for months, he disappeared from the team due to constant physical problems.

As a result, the 31-year-old wing-back cum midfielder, whose contract is due to expire in June 2021, has fallen down the pecking order.
The injuries have seen him miss at least 18 games this season. So far, he has been involved in just 8 Serie A games – one of them as a substitute.

According to FCInternews.it, there are offers on the table from both Premier League side Watford and Turkish club Fenerbahce. Asamoah is more likely to leave Inter for the latter, per constant inks over the years.

Kwadwo Asamoah has spent most of his career in Italy, joining Torino in January 2008, moving on to Udinese, Juventus and now with Inter since 2018.
