Ex-Asante Kotoko striker, Fatawu Safiu continued his fine form in Trelleborgs 1-1 home draw with Umea FC in the Swedish Superettan on Thursday.
Safiu, who last week scored a hat-trick, played the entire game for his side at the Vångavallen.
The 26-year-old was however yellow-carded in the 38th minute.
Fritiof Bjoerken broke the deadlock for Trelleborgs FF in the 47th minute after the first half went barren.
In the dying embers of the game, Umeaa’s hardwork somehow paid off when Jens Stigendahl pulled level in the 89th minute.
The 1-1 draw keeps Fatawu Safiu’s Trelleborgs on the 9th spot with 12 points after 9 matches with Umeaa in 10th with 10 points.
