Attamah’s Fatih Karagümrük held in TFF 1st League play-offs

Ghana defender, Joseph Attamah Larweh played full time as Fatih Karagümrük played out a 3-3 home draw with Akhisarspor on Wednesday.

The six-goal thriller was the opening leg of their Turkish First Lig play-offs semifinals fixture at the Vefa Stadium.

The end-to-end stuff saw Erik Sabo shoot Fatih Karagümrük ahead from the penalty spot on the 18th minute.

Akhisarspor put themselves together and got the equalizer on the 34th minute from Bertug Bayar.

The second half saw better exchanges from both sides with Karagümrük going in front once again on the 59th minute from the boot of Artur Sobiech.

Akhisarspor will leave no stone unturned as Erhan Celenk replied to settle the game at 2-2 on the 84th minute.

Koray Altinay’s third goal for Karagümrük on the 87th minute was expected to cushion them ahead of the second leg but Akhisarspor pulled level through Ugur Kuru on the 90th minute.

The return match, which will determine the finalist, will be played at Spor Toto Akhisar Stadium on Sunday, July 26.
