VIDEO: Dauda continues fine form with goal and assist for Esbjerg

Dauda Mohammed continued his hot streak with a goal and assist for Esbjerg fB in a 2-2 draw away to AC Horsens on Tuesday.

Just like in the previous fame against Randers, the Ghanaian striker opened the scoring for his side in the 12th minute of the 2019/20 Danish Superliga match-day 28 encounter at CASA Arena.

Dauda swiftly shrugged off a challenge from his marker before delivering a right-footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner – his 5th goal in the league.

But Horsens got back into the game with a 37th-minute equalizer after a momentary loss of concentration by the visitors. Michael Lumb made the easiest of efforts with a placement from inside the six-yard box after a corner kick which looked to have been wasted was squeezed back into play.

Horsens went ahead to lead 2-1 with a headed goal by Nigerian Ayo Simon Okosun in the 52nd minute.

Dauda, who had been on a yellow card for a poor tackle since the 25th minute, was relentless in ensuring the visitors got back on level terms.

And his persistence paid off just nine minutes from time when he snatched possession from the edge of the Horsens penalty box and set up teammate Joni Kauko to level the scores – 2-2.

Dauda Mohammed was substituted in the 87th minute with Esbjerg ensuring they returned home with a point.
