Dizan Bi Eric: Hearts rope in 5th foreign signing

Hearts of Oak completed their mid-season transfer business with the signing of Ivorian winger Dizan Bi Eric for three years.

Since 2011, the 26-year-old has featured for three clubs in his homeland including RC Bettié, Ivoire Académie Abidjan and quite recently Stade Abidjan.

Dizan is one of five players roped in by the Phobians in the second transfer window of the 2019/20 season. The others include striking pair Abednego Tetteh and Danjuma Kuti, Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali as well as former captain Nuru Sulley.

His arrival also shoots the number of non-Ghanaian players in the Hearts of Oak squad to five. Congo’s Raddy Ovouka and Abubakar Traore of Burkina Faso, who have been in the squad for the past few seasons, are now joined by the trio of Dizan Bi Eric (Cote d’Ivoire), Danjuma Kuti (Nigeria) and Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali (Niger).
