Inter Allies issue Adebayor hands-off warning to GPL clubs

Inter Allies have issued a final hands-off warning to Ghanaian clubs interested in signing winger Zakari Victorien Adebayor Adje.

The ‘Eleven Is To One’, in a statement Monday said they have no intention of selling their most-prized man within the local market.

The club was alarmed after establishing that some Ghana Premier League clubs had made attempts to induce the 2019/20 season’s leading scorer as the second transfer window opens March 13, hence the warning.

The warning note signed by Inver Allies Vice President Delali Senaye reads:

“It has come to our notice, that some Ghanaian Premier League Clubs and their agents are unlawfully inducing our Forward Victorien Adebayor contrary to the FIFA regulations on the Status and Transfer of players.

We shall report any further attempt by the said Clubs to the Players Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

Currently, Inter Allies and the Players agent are considering Six (6) offers from Europe, One (1) from UAE and One (1) from Saudi Arabia. Victorien Adebayor is NOT available FOR/TO any Ghanaian Club.

We advise that our forward be left alone to enjoy his football career

By this release the said Clubs have been put on notice and assigned final warning.”

Inter Allies acquired Victorien Adebayor from Nigerien side AS GNN some two years ago.  He is expected to move abroad in the coming summer.
