Acting Hearts of Oak coach, Edward Nii Odoom says he is working on his strikers to discover their goalscoring touch soon.
After 10 games in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League, goals have generally been in short supply in the camp of the Phobians. They have managed to score only nine goals – five from Kofi Kordzi, Joseph Esso on two and one each by Bernard Arthur and Fatawu Mohammed.
Speaking on his side’s goal returns, Odoom said:
“We are gradually moving to solve our goal scoring problem. We have started working on it because the team lacks at the moment.
“Last week, I had a session with the team’s strikers for an hour before the full team trained and we will continue doing that.
“I believe that it will help the team. Against Bechem United, I saw signs and I am convinced that it shall be well.”
Meanwhile, Hearts have also conceded 10 goals in as many games.
They travel to face Karela United on match-day 11 of the 2019/20 GPL Wednesday.
