Sochaux announce Lawrence Ati Zigi move to St. Gallen

French side FC Sochaux, on Thursday evening, announced the transfer of Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi to FC St. Gallen of Switzerland.

The 23-year-old’s switch is subject to medical and is replacing Dejan Stojanovic who has been signed by English Championship side Middlesbrough FC.

FC Sochaux published on its website and via Twitter: “Lawrence Ati Zigi, who was tied to FC Sochaux until next June, will switch to FC St. Gallen after a medical examination. There, he will meet Peter Zeidler, through whom he came to FC Sochaux.

“The club wishes the best to Lawrence Ati Zigi for the rest of his career and will very quickly announce the identity of his replacement.”

Lawrence Zigi joined Sochaux in summer 2017 from Red Bull Salzburg. He stood between the posts for Sochaux in 23 Domino’s Ligue 2 games and 7 cup matches.
