Jordan Opoku makes Berekum Chelsea return

After two emphatic away victories against Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak and  Asante Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea have further tightened their roster with the inclusion of known midfield class-act Jordan Opoku.

A club statement via their official Twitter account read: ”Jordan Opoku IS BACK! 🤩 The midfielder returns to #Bkcfc after a long spell with @AsanteKotoko_SC and 📝 ✍🏾 on a permanent deal.

The veteran midfielder was available on a free transfer after leaving Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the end of the season.

Jordan joins the likes of Stephen Amankonah to provide the daft space-creating passes Kofi Owusu will crave for in attack.

first signed for the Berekum-based side in 2011 after returning from Albania where he played for six months.

He played a key part in Chelsea’s 2012 CAF Champions League campaign till their elimination in the group stage.
