Kissi Boateng played for Berekum Chelsea between 2011 and 2013 before embarking on a big-money move to DR Congo giants TP Mazembe. He enjoyed a successful four-year stint with the Ravens but was allowed to leave at the end of his contract.
The 31-year-old returned home in 2017 for a brief stint with another former club – Liberty Professionals – before getting whisked away by South African topflight side SuperSport United.
Kissi Boateng has been without a club since leaving SuperSport at the end of the 2018/19 season.
He fills a needed space in the high-flying Berekum Chelsea side who started the season with one recognized left-back.
Berekum Chelsea are unbeaten in five games this season and sit atop the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League log with 13 points.
