2019/20 GPL: Club Licensing Board approves venues for 16 clubs

Sixteen (16) clubs have had their selected home grounds approved for the 18-team 2019/20 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Club Licensing Board (CLB) of the Ghana Football Association made its conclusions after inspecting the venues proposed by the clubs across the country.

The CLB outrightly rejected the Madina Park and Robert Mensah Stadium which had been picked by Wa All Stars and Ebusua Dwarfs respectively.

The two clubs have been “asked to choose alternative venues for their home matches.”

“The mandatory basis for the rejection have been discussed with clubs. The deadline for clubs to propose alternative venues has been discussed with clubs.

“The Competitions Department shall select an approved venue for the clubs to honour their home matches should the clubs fail to meet the deadline,” read portions of a statement of the GFA website.
